Scottish Co-mobility Forum: Planning opportunities around NPF4 and shared transport

About the event

We are delighted to announce a Scottish Forum on the National Planning Framework 4 as the consultation comes to an end March 2022. This forum will now be held on Wed 16 March from 10:00 – 11:30am.

In this forum we will look at the issues raised for shared transport within NPF4 and the future challenges within the sector in a planning context.

We will cover the extent of NPF4 and how it applies to the future of shared transport; community planning for shared transport in an NPF4 world; and will hear directly from those involved in the planning processes on how the changes will prove impactful in how people move about and leave the car behind.

Speakers:

  • David Wood, Planning & Policy Manager at PAS (Planning Aid Scotland)
  • Euan Leitch, Chief Executive at SURF (Scotland’s Regeneration Forum)
  • Mark Dowey, Senior Development Officer (Built Environment) at CoMoUK
